This was my second time using this moving company. My first experience was so great that when it was time to move again, I didn't hesitate to contact Richard. Additionally, I've been very intentional about supporting small, Black owned businesses; especially right now. So, let me start by saying I recommend this company for your move, but I believe there are a couple things future customers should be aware of.
Be prepared to pay for an entire extra hour for ANY time over 2 hours, as they do not prorate or offer a courtesy if they arrive late. Even if the job starts late (note: the moving time clock begins when they arrive), or they need to make a gas stop during your move, or the job only goes a few minutes over; you are responsible for that. Either plan to have a move that's under 2 hours to get the base rate, or just add in the additional cost per hour if you think your move may be more than 2 hours.
On a positive note, Richard is always super nice and professional. They break down and set up furniture, and make sure things are packed securely so they don't break. The base rate is comparable to other companies and being economical is even more important now with everything going on. Although they were late due to a tire blowout, Richard called and texted to keep me updated about the status of the repair and estimated arrival time.

They have moved me three times now. They make the move as easy as possible. They pack things efficiently. They are working and not playing or talking. Regardless of the situation, they get the job done. Thanks for the great work!

We are repeat customers. Richard and his team have moved both my daughter and myself. This is my 3rd move and I've never been disappointed. This move took longer than I excepted so it cost more than I thought but that was my fault. More junk then I realized I had!! They did the best they could at getting boxes in the right rooms but they had another job after me. I should have been better at explaining what I had.
You won't be disappointed. They are fast, friendly, careful and IF I ever move again, other than the funeral, I'll definitely use Richard and Reliable Movers!!
