MOVING HELPERS WITH A RENTAL TRUCK
A lot of customers come to us looking for moving helpers, some assume the movers come with a rental truck already. We want to open the door of opportunity for both moving labor companies and customers who are looking for an alternative to full-service moving.
How it works?
Customer pack their things, moving helpers meet the customer at their location to wrap their furniture, load & unload their things for them - locally and nationwide.
We have been asking truck rental companies for a deal in order to keep relocation cost within a budget for clients. We finally got a deal: Budget Truck Rental.
In order to be considered for our new moving helpers with rental truck program, companies must:
Have an active account with Hire a Helper that's at least 2 years old
4-5 Star ratings on average
Use Budget Truck to facilitate the move (see trucks)
To preserve the integrity of the move, we require that the moving helpers rent a truck with their own drivers license. The client is not responsible for the rental truck, the movers rent the truck & pay for all associated fees (rental cost, fuel, extra fees etc). Moving blankets will be required for all moves for safety & to provide a better moving experience for customers & movers alike.
Whenever you quote, your quote must include:
2 movers plus a minimum amount of hours the customer will be able to rent the moving helpers plus truck (we recommend 3 for billing purposes), the truck size for that rate, the zip code & radius you service, and the cost per additional hour.
MOVING SERVICES IN HOUSTON, TX
Example: One of our Houston teams charge 2 movers 3 hours for $180 Total ($80 each additional hour). This quote includes 2 movers with a dolly, 12 blankets for up to 3 hours of moving services within 40 miles of 77072 in a 16ft Box Truck.
They provide free shrink-wrap and protect the clients furniture for them. Needless to say, they get booked quite often and clients do not mind the extra hours - most see it as an investment for their stuff to arrive safely.
