Not Getting Bookings? This Could be Why!

We get a lot of sign ups, and in some areas competition is fierce. Featured moving helpers have asked us why are they not getting bookings on our website. We looked into it.

Moving Helpers (Featured)

We recently added a lot of new companies to our list of moving helpers; however, they are not necessarily new to moving. A majority of them have an active profile on other moving help marketplaces, such as on our affiliates websites: HireAHelper, U-Haul etc.

Experience, great reviews, high number of ratings - everything looks good. But why are some featured movers not getting booked as much on our platform as on others?

We talk to potential clients on the phone. We walk them through our website and answer their questions. We spend 15 - 20 minutes on average with customers in the booking process. We can anticipate their questions and usually have an answer on-hand to help us move forward with booking a team. There is one question that almost always ends the conversation.

The Caller

"Hi, I was just on another website and I saw the company I wanted. I googled them. They have great reviews and I wanted to book them with you guys - but there is one thing I do not understand" a customer calls in with their inquiry. We know where this type of inquiry usually leads.

"Why are they $40-$50 more on your website than on the others?" the potential customer asks a great question we cannot answer. We tell them we can price match. So they are more than happy to send us the url to the movers other page. We see it quite often!

Most moving helpers forget to change their prices on our website and clients usually just book them on the other website(s).

Best Price Guarantee

We have a price match policy. Although most movers understand when we automatically change their rates to match their rates on other websites, we still lose a lot of bookings for movers who we do not work with frequently. Staying updated matter!

Are you listed on our website? When was the last time you updated your rates or pictures?
