Cats Care More About People Than Food - Time Reports

Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty

Cat's have a reputation for being selfish, yet independent creatures. But a new study finds that cats care about humans more than food.

Time.com recently submitted a video titled "Cats Care About People More Than Food, New Study Finds". In the video, they claim that a new study finds that cats prefer human interaction to food.

Scientist offered domestic pets and shelter cats a choice between food, toys, scent and human interaction. The end result was that a majority of cats, both domestic pets and those in shelters, preferred social interaction with humans more than the other options.

Food, of course, came in second.

"meee-t now", says every cat.
