UPACK Gives Free Rides to Honor Ride in Tampa, FL

There are hundreds of thousands of veterans and first responders who suffer from various wounds nationwide. Project Honor Rides are popular single-day, non-competitive cycling events held throughout the nation where the public rides alongside our healing heroes.

U-Pack Relocubes took part in the event. "These guys are the BEST" said Jack Shepard, Honor Ride Director of Operations at Ride 2 Recovery. "They ship our event equipment all over the country free of charge in support of our recovering Veterans and First Responders." Jack said on Facebook.

 


Honoring the Honorable Ones

From former Marines, local law enforcement, paramedics and hundreds of other heros took part in the festivities on February 12th, which included breakfast, lunch, concerts, entertaiment of various, ride-along and a lot of brotherly love and fun.

There were 3 routes in Saint Petersburgh, one was 25.1 miles, from St Petersburg to Seminole. This was the short route. The 2nd route was 38.2 miles, the 3rd was a grand total of 61.3 miles. Cyclist of all levels rode along side local heros in celebration of public service, health and unity.

"We'll have over 450 riders out here, a mix of veterans and non-veterans,” said Mitch Lee with Project Hero. “Riding helps everybody, but it especially helps our wounded and injured vets.".
